It seems there are quite a few people screwed by Advanta. I suggest a strike! The fed has let us down and lets companies kick a guy when your down. Please comment back if you agree or not. Here is my idea! Everyone who has Advanta quit paying! Force them into bankruptcy, and tell your senators and congressperson, that you addimently oppose any bail out of Advanta. The world will be a better place.

If you or anyone you know has Advanta lets get together. I am also going to check out the class action law suit. That ussualy does no good for us but the company gets a slap on the rist and the atty gets rich.

I wish to stop Paying my account, I owe 8654.00, and the interest rate jumped to 29.99. I now owe 2 back payments $700.00 but 600.00 go to interest, I just can't write the check, and thinking about not paying it at all

Advanta Bank Corp,, eight years, NO late payments, 1/2 of credit limit used on card, credit score in 750's,, interest rate went from 7.9% to 25.9%!  

Stay away or get away from Advanta! 

Class action law suit? I'm there!
