Looking for Class Action Members - Lawsuit against Advanta Bank

I have done some subsequent research since Advanta did the same to me, by jacking my interest rate up from 10.3% to 35% in August with no notice and no valid reasoning other than they say I no longer meet their lending criteria in today's market conditions.

I have an attorney who they also ripped off in the same manner looking for members to file a class action lawsuit against Advanta. We need to make Advanta pay for screwing us over. They cost me at least $600 in extra interest before I got them paid off this week.

If the government can bail out these banks, they should be able to call a stop to these piss poor practices. Starting today, I am going to write to every politician out there that may be able to call for an investigation. Raise the roof, y'all!!!! Report

8. Written by popmm, on 19-10-2009 11:57 Same thing happened to me. Very small business owner. Got very low rate, never late and always overpaid. Rate jumped to 25% with no explanation. Had to cash in IRA to pay it off or pay astronomical interest! Just got a check for cash back underpayment. Assuming I should not cash that! Report
